Who is responsible

FixMyScan is the data controller. Contact: legal@fixmyscan.com.

What we collect

• From Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture.
• From email sign-in: your email address.
• Your files and their converted copies, kept for the period shown in your settings.
• Billing records from Stripe: plan, payment status and invoices. We never see your full card number.
• Operational logs: request times, IP address and errors.
• Product analytics from PostHog: pages viewed, buttons clicked, referring site, campaign tags, device and browser, linked to your account ID when you are signed in. We do not send document text or file names to PostHog.

Why we use it

To provide the service (contract), to bill you (contract and legal obligation), and to keep the service secure and working and understand how it is used (legitimate interest).

Who processes it for us

Google (sign-in and file processing), Cloudflare (file storage), Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics), and the companies that host our servers and send our email. Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar browser storage for sign-in and for PostHog analytics.

How long we keep it

Files are deleted after the period shown in your settings. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Billing records are kept for 10 years, as French accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion or a portable copy of your data, and you can object to processing. Email legal@fixmyscan.com. You can also complain to the CNIL at cnil.fr.
